Eat these to keep your belly flat

One of the factors that makes us look good is a well-balanced diet. Therefore, it is worth mentioning the foods that will make our bellies flat. In majority of them, there are fruit and vegetables.

The list of favorable vegetables is as follows:

  • Carrots
  • Cauliflower
  • Broccoli
  • Peppers
  • Avocado

You can also eat fruit. The good ones are:

  • Apples
  • Pears
  • Oranges
  • Berries

Of course, we should not forget about doing sport. I prefer yoga and pilates, but from time to time I do some regular exercises in the gym. Since I do not want my body to be too muscular, these classes are perfect for me.

Reasons why you should quit sugar for good

I have been preparing to write this post for months. To be exact, since the moment I, by accident, decided to quit sugar and started noticing positive changes in my body. I have not been eating sweets, cookies, cakes and any other snacks including sugar. I also do not drink ready juices, drinks and other beverages with different types of sugar, sweeteners, and so on. I eat fruit and vegetables and these are the sources of sweetness in my diet. As it has been proven by researchers and scientists, who dealt with the influence sugar has on our bodies, this substance is more harmful than beneficial. First of all, it reduces our immunity, increases the possibility of getting sick of cancers, quickens aging processes and leads to obesity. Especially in case of the latter, the substance causes other diseases which are both dangerous to our health and wallets (medicines are very expensive!). There have been also books on the impact of taking in too much sugar. One of them is

Kalerosse: a new vegie

Have you heard about this new vegetable called kalerosse? It looks like a small cabbage and has unique flavour. It tastes of brussels spouts and kale. As it is described on producer`s website: "Kalerosse ™ is a brand new vegetable that combines sweetness and nutty flavours. It looks like a small cabbage with green wavy leaves and purple streaks. The inspiration for creating Kalerosse ™ was the desire to develop a vegetable similar to kale and brussels sprouts that would be versatile, easy to cook and attractive in appearance. The natural crossing of kale with brussels sprouts seemed obvious to us, because both of these plants come from the species Brassica oleracea , which also includes cabbage, cauliflower and broccoli. Kalerosse ™ does not only taste good, it is also very healthy. At just 100g, Kalerosse ™ contains twice as much vitamin B6 (which helps to store energy from food) and twice as much vitamin C than regular brussels sprouts." (source: http://kaleross
